Last month Site Gallery played host to Unsound Systems, an installation exploring various ways in which sound has been utilised as a weapon. Created by Steve Goodman (aka Kode 9 and founder of Hyperdub) and research partner Toby Heys, the project’s aim was to expose how sound has been used as a form of disturbance, deterrence and destruction for the best part of the last century, creating a climate of fear.
